Went to Court and Play yesterday. Dining with Mr. Parker at Sir Joshua [Reynold’s]. Grantham's good health reported by messenger. Waddilove's letters confirm this. Mentions rupture or general reconciliation, it must be sometime before what they want to happen can [Grantham being recalled from Spain]. Longs to be at Saltram, but so far away, ought to be in Town for the Birthday.
