Dinner at French Embassador’s yesterday, Duke of Losada's today, theirs on Thursday. Cook and confectioner both ill in bed a few days ago. Munro's concert went better than expected. Madame Benevente's Ball, didn't stay late. Princess Lobkowitz brought to bed of a son, seems healthy. Mr. Fitzwilliam et al set out yesterday. Fitz used Waddilove's apartment when he fell ill at his Inn. Charles Fox in a ridiculous scrape and will repent of fortune hunting. Lady Bridget Lane married to a brother of Lord Dysart. Duke of Gloucester, two accounts, one that he's in Paris, two that he's very ill. Assume nephew setting out for London soon.
