John Morris the younger esq. of St Albans, Hertfordshire; Joseph Morris esq. of Ampthill; Samuel Davis, gentleman of Ampthill; the Reverend James Webster of Meppershall; John Gregory Fox, John Pestell, James Parrott, all yeomen of Meppershall; Twydell Deer, yeoman of Shitlington. Reciting: (1) are the surviving Feoffees or Trustees of Ampthill and Meppershall Charity Estates by virtue of an Indenture of Feoffment dated 23 June 1791 Operative Part: (1) bargain and sell (a-c) to (2) Property: (a) messuage or tenement in Wilshamstead heretofore in occupation of Robert Bray, since John Lenford, William Hawkins and now John Gilbert (b) 6a of pasture ground adjoining (a) (c) 11a of land adjoining (a) and (b) in occupation of John Gilbert, alloted by the Inclosure Commissioners Habendum: - parties to employ one moiety of the profits of said lands to schooling poor children of Ampthill - parties to employ one moiety of the profits of said lands to schooling poor children of Meppershall - parties to give account of the charity to the ministers and churchwardens of Ampthill and Meppershall yearly - ministers to manage the estates in absence of one of the parties - parties to meet yearly on the day after Trinity Sunday at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at Ampthill and Meppershall alternately Memorandum: - John Morris and Thomas Brace Stone died after the deed was engrossed and before the other Trustees met to execute the Trust, leaving John Cooke and John Green the only surviving trustees
