- Scope and ContentApologises for not writing recently. They returned from Scarborough three weeks ago, where they enjoyed sea bathing, riding, and walking. He has a message from his mother, [Mary Jemima Robinson, Baroness Grantham (1756-1830)] concerning a box at Drury Lane; she has sent word to Mr Fosbrook that she will take Mr Hope’s box and asks her to inform Lady Pembroke. Discusses the general election, and hopes Fitzharris has secured a seat. The Ripon members are Lord Headley, and Sir James Graham, and he comments, “Miss Lawrence certainly by no means pleased with this arrangement.” Mentions Lady Lucas is staying in Putney. [Henrietta ends the letter]. Also apologises for not writing recently, which she writes is due to two of her sisters being ill. Her baby daughter [Anne Florence, b. 1806] is well and good humoured.
