  • Scope and Content
Has written to Miss Harris, will not miss the opportunity to write to her also [Katherine Gertrude Robinson]. Wishes Lord Boringdon’s sad business was quite over, he goes north next week and little Henry goes to Cranborne. Henry improving daily etc…he visits now his cousins are out of Town. Not sure if she herself will be going out of Town. Lady Mary [Pelham?] thought to be better in her own room in Hyde Park rather than in her small uncomfortable bedchamber at Windsor. Dined at Stratton Street on Thursday. Lady Chichester well. Lady Emily [Pelham?] well. The Bishop of Exeter (George Pelham) has been confirming and visiting at Plymouth, he went to Saltram and was delighted by it. Lord and Lady Courtown dined yesterday and spent the day with Lady Mary. Mrs Cornwallis has gone to Tunbridge. Lady Morton has been gone some time. Lady Sydney dines with them whilst her family is out of Town which disrupts their studies. Knows no new books, will want some if they go to Windsor. Great party at Cranbourne today of Lord Boringdon’s friends, thinks Lord Malmesbury will be there. Concludes letter to write to Mrs Villiers.
