    Hopes he continues to recover. Mrs. Waddilove continues dejected [loss of a baby?], children tolerably well. Rode to Newby yesterday, found the Deed required in an unlabelled cell not the Clifton one; 3rd June 1737, indorsed Settlement of The Yorkshire Estates, Sir Td. Robinson and Thomas Robinson etc... not sending Key with Deed in case of accident or it's being needed there. Deed by Charlotte Coach from Boroughbridge. Gave directions about Mrs. Robinson's mare. Asks permission for Ass to be allowed to eat weeds and nettles in Newby Park. Expecting to be called to Bishopsthorpe soon, Mrs. Waddilove will be thinking of the Lea next month. Expecting Tom [son[ home on 23rd. Lady Grantham's kind present of a print given to Mr. Ramshaw. Mr. Thompson will fetch his Monday sennight (Roy's Concert), he acknowledges Waddilove's draft for the jewels. Vernon is probably the new Bishop, Ch. Church will not suit, F. Robinson's attention useful if any other arrangements take place to give another opening. [Note on back]. The Dean is said to be well again. The report of Lawrence and Miss Lawrence is revised again.
