Mr. Lawrence and Lord Grantley mentioned, questions whether latter's interference in the town's business is beneficial to it or not. Mrs. Haddon has joined young Coates and Mr. Martin and shut up her letter box to the established postman (another box has been opened near her house). Ten shillings per annum for bringing Coffee Room papers under F. Robinson's cover; for about a month she directed the opposition postman to bring them. Majority of subscribers have given counter orders that Peter Farar shall bring them, they are; two Parkers, two Vics[?], Allanson, Taylor, Kilvington, Preston, Bell, Hutchinson, Finney, Berkley, Alderman Robinson, A. Robinson, Hinde, Rutter, Horner, Chs. Harrison, Genlet, Pickering, Lawson-Hall etc... Enclosure to send to Mr. Clapham at the corner of the steps next door the late Archbishops.
