Scope and Content
This collection shows the building up in the eighteenth century of a small estate in Biddenham by the Harris family. Much of the property lay along the north of the Green and up the east side of Gold Lane, and by 1794 it seems to have come into the possession of Thomas Estwick.
Bedfordshire Times 14 December 1867:
Farm of 80 acres given by the Misses Trevor of Tingrith to Mr William Manning their steward for 30 years "for faithful service"
