    To wife Elizabeth, to nephews George, John, William and James Travell, to niece Mary Gibbs and to Mary, wife of William Morris of Shefford, monetary bequests To friends, Joseph Morris of Ampthill, esquire, and William Parsons, of Wootton Pillinge, yeoman (executors), messuage at Ampthill where testator lives, in trust, to pay rents etc. to wife Elizabeth, for life. After her death to be sold. All other messuages, lands etc. in parish of Ampthill and elsewhere, in trust to be sold, unless nephew, Thomas Gibbs, wishes to purchase closes of pasture land adjoining messuage, in parish of Ampthill, purchased from -- Pye and George Farvell, 8 acres, now in occupation of testator: household goods, business assets, to sell. Monies to be used as follows:- To sister Elizabeth Travell, annuity. After her death, to wife Elizabeth for life. Should sister Elizabeth survive wife, money to pay annuity to be set apart during her life, and at her death to be divided between children of late sister Elizabeth Gibbs and brother Humphrey Carte To niece Ann Forbes, annuity towards maintenance of children Interest on residue to wife Elizabeth for life. On her death:- to three children of niece Ann Forbes, equal shares in £80 to children of late sister Mary Gibbs and children of brother Humphrey Carte, at age 21, residue of trust monies: shares of nephew James Gibbs to be paid to brother Thomas for his use; of Mary Carte (non compos mentis) to testator's brother Humphrey, for her use: and of Catherine Jackson, daughter of late sister Mary Gibbs, to her alone To executors, monetary bequests Witnesses: E Eagles, Jonathan Eagles, John Kirk
