Acknowledges his letter of November 24 enclosing one from Dr. Duff of Cadiz. Grantham's covering note for two letters, one from Dillon, returned in order to procure directions about the Dedication [not specified]. Brief discussion of wording etc... Other letter from Captain Lynch, Gibralter concerning a small packet for Waddilove, he doesn't say where it has been left. Great Spanish Dictionary is at Whitehall. Grantham or F. Robinson might want it. Chocolate mentioned. Arrangements for other cases. Unbound volume of the Arab: Catalogue. Mr. Lapiere mentioned. Dr. Lort heard Lord Grantham with much pleasure, very good speech. Lord L's death; Waddilove immediately thought of Grantham, though wished for something better for him. Madrid Plate, may leave it to Dillon to put into his Title page or as a tall piece to his book. If he'd had it in time Swinburne should have had it for his Supplement.
