  • Scope and Content
Refers to Mr. Worsley's bill for £25. Induced to break a rule and endorse it having been informed by him that he was authorized to draw it by F. Robinson. Worsley being related to Mrs. Chetwynd Stapylton was an additional inducement, also his being in C. Stapylton's own Company. Mr. Winter has the bill and instructions that it shall be paid on receipt of an answer to this letter. Consider the hardship of Stapylton's being obliged to pay the money at the time of his moving [to Naples]. Worsley in the greatest distress when he received the money and could not have done so without the endorsement.
