On the left hand side is a row of cottages with a telegraph pole and a brown Heritage road sign for Wrest Park. The junction with Park Avenue can be seen on the far right hand side of the street. On the right hand side of the postcard is The Star and Garter public house with a sign on the wall reading "Lowther & Sons, Fine Ales, Star and Garter".
