Jack's sore throat and Mrs. Robinson's thumb better. Should have written to latter to wish her joy of Lord Mal[m]esbury but trust she is too well assured of Anne's interest in her to require a letter of form. Lady Pelham sent another of George's letters. Poor Lucy much hurt to learn from Miss Gage that her brother is to marry Miss Skinner. Lady Pelham as much disappointed. Emily going to Bath. Thinks Sir Joseph's being a Peer quite ridiculous, nothing to do with James Harris, think Frederick may as well ask for it because he was in same situation as him in Spain. Not sorry to return from Mount Edgcumbe. Not looking forward to Trehill, long journey, small house and noisy children. Sorry for poor Lady Robinson.
