Sorry for Frederick that Lord and Lady Grantham leave Newby so soon, as he stays until February. Captain Pole there for a fortnight, constant letters from his brother full of commendations of Mrs. Carew. Miss May writes they are frozen up at Stanmer. Which Mr. Dalton of Rippon [sic] is it that is married.
