Assurance from Mr. Parker that Frederick is perfectly welcome to be in his house in Sackville Street when he arrives in Town. The Little Boy is proud of his letter from Lady Grantham, has written to Theresa about it. Doesn't understand why Frederick is in Town sooner than expected. Regrets the impossibility of their all meeting at Saltram this year. Sir John Ramsden and Mr. Armitage left this morning. The account of the Weddell's was well timed as he said he had not heard from his sister for a long time. They are with their Regiment of Light Dragoons at Totnes. Violent windy weather for two nights. Blew down tents on Buckland Down. Rumours of damage to the Fleet in Torbay.
