    He has divided estate as follows; Shillington Bury Farm remains unaffected to it he has added from Meppershall Farm: ... 2 fields arable called The Hills (11 acres) ... close pasture called Bare Gardens, adjoining above (9 acres) ... close pasture adjoining called the Six Acres (about 6 acres) ... so much of the Hertfordshire Meadow (Lammas Land) which adjoins the Six Acres from end of said meadow next Shillington Bury as far as it runs by the side of a piece of pasture adjoining the 4 acres arable (part of Shillington Bury farm and said Six Acre Close) and ends itself by straight line drawn from the hedge or ditch dividing Six Acres from Gipsey Close, being part of Meppershall Farm [this last part, from "so much..." crossed out and substituted in pencil:-] ... one other field of arable called Gipsey Close adjoining the Bare Garden and Six Acres with plan of 1st alternative ... all trees etc., growing thereon fences to be made [if alternative adopted] by owner of Shillington Bury Farm Said division is made in consideration that there exists a lease on Meppershall Farm and it is intended that Mr Bell should hold it at £210 per annum rent rent and land tax apportioned accordingly signature: Henry Crawter 3 Jun 1815 with rough drafts of above made on back of sale catalogue
