Recommendation signed by Mr. Lawrence and 40 principal local inhabitants of Ripon. Corporation Meeting held on 29 September; unanimous resolution in Turner's favour - transmitted to Earl of Clarendon and Lord Carteret. Strong Interest expected from the other side - Lord Grantley. Request Robinson's assistance.
