    Admission of Samuel Wilson on the surrender of John Foster reciting a surrender of 14 January 1812 between Samuel Wilson, Holm, Biggleswade, yeoman, and John Foster, private in Bedfordshire militia (eldest son and heir of John Foster senior, late of Biggleswade, cordwainer, deceased) based on a conditional surrender of 3 July 1794 to secure repayment of £140. Amount now due to Samuel Wilson -£200. now in consideration of £200 and £20 to be paid by Samuel Wilson to John Foster, said John Foster has agreed to sell property to Samuel Wilson and so surrendered into hand of Lord on 14 January 1812 ... small house or tenement, now divided into 3, late in occupation John Saggers senior, and John Saggers junior, Elizabeth Mason, widow, and William Roades ... 2 other houses sometime since erected in yard of said premises in occupation John Foster, deceased, and William Creek all above premises are situated in Shortmead Street, in Biggleswade (to which premises said John Foster, deceased, was admitted tenant on 17, 18 October 1775 on surrender of James Brooke)
