Staying with Lord Midleton for time being as he thinks Pelham useful to him following Lady Midleton's death [Fanny]. Intending to visit Lord Clarendon at the Grove[?] seeing Windsor and Eton on the way. Needs to be in Sussex by beginning of August. Lord Midleton fully sensible of the warm affection that Fanny entertained for Robinson and Lord and Land Grantham. Hopes the intimacy between them and himself will continue. Pelhams at Stanmer has endured the painful scenes of the last month better than expected. Lord Pelham has had an inflamed eye and Lucy a cough.
