Left young Spence, brought from Lyons by Lord Pelham's wishes. Has since learned that his family are not more anxious for his return than he is to return. Pay Waddilove what he owes him for books. Any money remaining should be spent on Barcelona silk stockings. Mr. Curtois bought the others and will know where to send them. Mengs went from hence last Sunday. Will be one of his first calls in Rome. Cardinal not coming before Autumn. Grimaldi to Paris and Hague before here. Pelhams at home all writing from Stratton Street, please with new house.
