- TitleFrom John Parker, 2nd Baron Boringdon, Hammersmith to Frederick Robinson:
- Date free text15 Oct 1785
- Production dateFrom: 1785 To: 1785
- Scope and ContentThanks for Grantham's letter. Happy Robinson's gout nearly gone. Begs pardon for affronting horses and stables at Newby, mistaken about them, good stabling for 18 horses, no necessity for new ones. Equally mistaken in thinking little boys all rode at one time. Sir Thomas Frankland only eight miles from Newby. Hope he is a better neighbour than the last Sir Thomas. Glad Grantham approved Therese's letter in French. Fine weather, but great storm Wednesday, heard of no damage. Dr. Kyte sends compliments, obliged to Grantham for information about Mr. Draper's house. P.S. Does he like Mail Coach, went to Rippn [sic] last Monday. Lands End next Monday.
