    Eight leases to be sent by Mail Coach tomorrow morning, first three to be sent to Lord Landsdown/Lansdown after F. Robinson has executed them. Other give to be returned immediately, money has to be paid on 24th. Tenements all purchased at surveys. Miss Robinson thinks Lord Lansdown is at Wycombe, enquire at Landsdown House first. Apology from Mr. Strong, applicant for Stewardship of Saltram, for not meeting with Ley, not intending to quit present post until March. Ley rearranged meeting and will try to persuade him to quit sooner. Draft for 75 [[pounds?] sent to Lord Boringdon for Christmas Quarter etc.... Discharged all Plymouth Bills relating to Lord Boringdon's death. Brother J. Ley returned from Bath in good health.
