Ley [Henry] has written from Bridport, with two aldermen of Exeter on their way to Weymouth, to know His Majesty's wishes on the manner in which he is to be received by Weymouth. Ley has received the means to get at the key of the Cellar. Assured house in order by Mrs. Westcot. Parliament to be prorogued on Tuesday next, Privy Councillors are going to W. To hold a Council for that purpose. Lord Effingham to go to Jamaica to die, his request. Lord Chesterfield to succeed to the Mint. Lord Westmoreland to succeed Lord Carteret, having asked for Ireland and other high offices. Lord Salisbury a Marquis it is said, one of the terms made by Lord North with the Coalition Administration. Lord Belgrave one of the Lords of the Admiralty.
