    Property as in PE70, viz: - 5 roods of meadow lying in East Mead in the parish of Goldington, Mr Haselden junior on E., and James Wiffin W., abutting S. on the river and N. on the mill way, and all appurtenances; all of which was purchased from Sir Christopher Hatton, baronet, Mary Davies of Goldington, widow; Hatton Davies; John Davies; Thomas Davies; and Christopher Davies, the last being the 4 sons of the said Mary Davies; Francis Foore (?) and Elizabeth his wife, gentleman; John Nodes, clerk and Anne his wife (the said Elizabeth and Anne being daughters of the said Mary Davies); William Farrer, esquire, Edward Bourne, clerk, and Francis Brace, gentleman And they were among other lands and hereditaments by indenture of lease and release dated 4, 5 October and made between Sir Christopher Hatton etc. the parties as above on the first part and John Whitbread and Richard Watford on the other.
