Glad to have heard from him by his own hand. Update on Rocliffe & Clifton accounts. Will send by Mr. Rhoder (Siddall's partner) at Easter if not before. Clifton Inclosure. No instructions for examining Ellis received by Gray. Norton Inclosure. Some talk with Mr. Taylor, who takes great pains to bring it about. Ellis proposed Edward Watterson of Skelton for Commissioner, Mr. Johnson of York the Umpire if Bill goes to Parliament. Proprietor of tythes to have land in open fields in lieu of tythes there, money in lieu of tyth of old inclosed lands.
