Scope and Content
- messuage or tenement sometime called Vauxes situate in Goldington in county of Bedford now or late in tenure or occupation of William Manton
- close of pasture adjoining the messuage known by the name of the Rolts containing 1 acre 1 rood
- 17 acres 1 rood of arable and ley usually occupied and enjoyed together with the said messuage, lying dispersed in the open fields of Goldington whereof:
- 5 acres 1 rood in the E. Field
- 4 acres 1½ roods of arable in the S. Field
- 4 acres 1½ roods of arable in the W. Field
- 5 acres arable being every years land in a place called the Lowe
- 2 acres of ley lying in a close or inclosed ground in milditch furlong
- 6 roods of meadow whereof
- 3 roods in E. meadow
- 3 roods in S. meadow
All late in occupation of William Manton and all appurtenances. All which premises were conveyed by William Beard to John Sendall and Agnes his wife and heirs. Agnes survived her husband and was solely seised of the property. At her death her son John Gale inherited. Gale and his son Thomas conveyed the property to Andrew Denys, clerk, heretofore master of the hospital of St John the Baptist in Bedford who by his Will of 18 October 1633 left the premises to John Dennys his nephew, since deceased. (viz. one of the sons of his brother Thomas) and the heirs of John after the death of Mary his wife. After the death of Mary her son John Dennys inherited, i.e. i).

From i) to ii), one moiety to the use of Robert Berkeley and his heirs and the other moiety to the only use of Clement Berridge and his heirs
