- Scope and ContentCopy of Mr. John Lloyd's opinion, taken by Mr. Jones, Salisbury Square, Fleet Street, on the part of the Executors of Lady Robinson. Suit unavoidable. Enclosure of Clifton Moor. Lloyd thinks Mitford's opinion may be right as to Lady Robinson's not being entitled to the Interest while she was in possession of the Estate as Tenant for Life. A Bill should be filed in Chancery to establish amount of demand upon Estate during Life of Ellis, the only witness to the amount of money laid out. Robinson Executor of late Lord Boringdon. Notice from Mr. Putteney to quit house in Sackville Street. Other leaseholders in street also had notice & have appointed Dunn et al to defend them. Many have signed an agreement to pay the expence according to their respective land tax assessments. One suit to cover all. Assume Robinson will sign too. The Chancellor has order the additional £100 per annum from Ladyday 1789.
