Response to Mrs. Worsley's [?] request for a home of her own. Grantham unable to advance sum asked for, gives circumstances; expenses of Jim in Gibralter, Ralph at Cambridge & Dick. Dr. Barlow/Barton [?] mentioned in connection with Ralph, Mrs. G. Stainforth and Mr. Phipps with Dick. Sales of Estates; [?] at Beverley 27/-. Warehouse[?] sold for £126, House at Filey £175. Land at Filey unsold but not worth more than £200 Mr. Ranesey's correspondence mentioned in connection with the sales. Grantham fears Mrs. Worsley [?] led to believe before Settlement that above sales would have been more productive. General comment on the circumstances of Jim and Ralph.
