To wife Sarah 2 cottages in Upper Shelton in own occupation and that of the widow Wright, "in case she keeps herself a widow, but not to do or commit any waste or spoil on the premises", empowers her to mortgage the cottages for £10 if son John wishes to be apprenticed
To son John cottages upon Sarah's death or re-marriage, paying out of them £10 to daughter Mary Hall
