Trust he called at Topcliffe. Sorry to have missed him. Cherry Burton building work update. May be hindered this week by Beverley Races. Ripon business; no news. Disturbances may have prevented Arch Bishop's writing. H.G. [Goodricke?] always attends Beverley Races but Waddilove will keep out of his way. Currently two Prebends of Ripon vacant. Would have solicited for one of them in other circumstances. Prebendaries H.G., Wilkinson, Collins etc.. give Arch Bishop two or three names to choose from.
