Letter from Richard How to John Pitts. Provides the information he has found regarding the life and works of Johan Andreas Cramer. Also reference to 'Der Messias' [The Messiah] by Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock and another German writer ...'Germans ought never to attempt blank verse.' Further mention of the use of plural rather than singular pronoun. The writer has recieved a letter from his son, who is in Bengal.
