Letter to Thomas Wing from Eagles & Son at Ampthill: “We will enclose the agreement signed by our client in a parcel to our agent in the course of a few days, who will exchange it for yours, in the meantime you will perhaps write to say when it will suit your convenience to attend, giving a fortnight’s notice at the least and on hearing from you we will immediately write to our referee (a Thursday will not suit our referee or ourselves and we believe a Saturday will be inconvenient to yours). We hope to get through in a day and propose to meet at the George Inn, Bedford”.
