Includes: over 6 years since has written, soon after last wrote married and 'had not the courage to write of it, so only sent you a photo of my husband Mr Hurley & myself.' Husband died four years after they married when his cart overturned in the bush. Sister Lily and Charlie stayed with her a few months after her marriage, Amy boarded as home was not convenient to the school. Charlie died 19 Sept 1893. Poor father still where he was no better. Has two children, a boy 6 years next February named Davie and a girl named Gwen 4 years in January. Whooping cough and influenza very prevalent, 'measles gave us a scare, a few cases of it in Gympie, Brisbane & many colonial town have had measles.' 'The mines are looking a little brighter than they were since the flood, but very many miners are unemployed.' Floods. Lily & Lois with her has not seen father since her wedding trip but Lily & Lois have seen him this year.
