Also Fine in Trinity Term 1792 by William Dennis and wife Francis Ann to James Rust and John Cearabert Gilbee, esquire on 1 acre called Herring's yard and also cottage in Little Staughton. Recites Lease and Release 20, 21 August 1794 between i) Elizabeth Jackson of Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, widow and John Perkins; Henry Sweeting. Declares that on 21 February 1792, said Elizabeth Jackson agreed with James Rust for purchase of annuity of £150 paid to her for life at price of £1,500 by Bond 21 February 1792 Recites Lease and Release 20, 21 February 1792 between James Rust; Elizabeth Jackson; John Perkins and Henry Sweeting The said James Rust seized of hereditaments in Great and Little Staughton at yearly value of £180 and desirous of submitting them to collateral security for said annuity of £150. By said Indenture of 1 August 1794 James Rust sold to John Perkins and Henry Sweeting the said premises comprised in Indenture 20, 21 July 1792 for further securing payment of said annuity of £150 and whereas John Perkins died August 1800 and Elizabeth Jackson died January 1804, and whereas by award James Rust was allotted land 3 roods 3 perches. Recites Lease and Release 1, 2 October 1804 between Henry Sweeting; James Rust; David Pearsey hereditaments in Lease and Release of 20, 21 July 1792: whereas James Rust agreed with James Lugsden and William Williamson for sale of messuage and parcel of land for £150 - cottage in Little Staughton in Great Green; parcel of land 3 roods 3 perches in Great Green bounded N. by public road leading over Green and by land of William Lunnis and James Rust and James Lugsdin; parcel 2 acres called Herrings Yard now in occupation of James Lugsdin.
