- Scope and ContentTo Mary Ann Lawrence wife of John Lawrence of Shelton, an annuity, annual sum of £76..16s paid to her quarterly on 6 January, 6 April, 6 July, 11 October. All lands in Little Staughton to John Peck senior of Wellingborough, watchman and Thomas Peck of Shelton, farmer in respect of payment of said annuity, if unpaid Mary Ann Lawrence is authorised to enter on hereditaments and extract goods and chattels for payment of said annuity To Mary Ann Lawrence 4th part of my linen and clock which stands in my bedroom and bed which my housekeeper usually sleeps on, with bedstead, bedding and hangings To late wife's daughter Ann, wife of John Brown of Broughton sum of £2..2s and my best bedstead and bedding and hangings with 4 pairs of sheets To my nephew Francis Hills and niece Mary Wiles £10 each £50 part of personal property out of which I can by law give same to be paid by executors to trustees for time being of the Dissenting Meeting House in Little Staughton within 12 months of decease for the intent that the trustees invest and continue same in Government funds in the names of any 4 of them and pay dividends among such of the poor friends who shall attend said meeting house on Christmas day annually so long as same shall continue to be used as a place of worship of Almighty God To Minister of time-being £5 for preaching a sermon at my funeral In case I should hold ant security for money at time of my decease from said Thomas Peck I direct same to be given up to him Close of pasture in Stanwick about 7 acres unto John Peck All lands, tenements and other of my real estate in Little Staughton unto said Thomas Peck and John Peck as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and after payment of just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, legacies aforesaid and legal duty to Government, all residue of personal estate to Thomas and John Peck, share and share alike and I make them executors Witnesses: William Wells of Little Staughton, blacksmith; Luke Flanders of Little Staughton, carpenter; Nevile Day of St Neots Examined with original by Nevile Day and William Matlock 30 September 1825
