Unsettled and wishes journey was over. Has heard nothing from Baird. Rt. Wilbraham on road to Spain & Dutens[?] on way in the Autumn. Book for Bayir sent in Portuguese Ambassador's Coach. Must soften a note in it first before he gets it. Sufficient quantity of books for Winter on their way, bringing some, others in Count Massin's Printing Press going to Brodeiers at Bilbao by San Juan Evangelista, Captain Pedro Munez. Case not to be opened until Madrid. Mr. Harris impatient to return to Spain. Intends some present for the Ds. of B. Sir Joshua [Reynolds] is very lazy. Sir William Chambers wrote last post, means to send some plans. Lord Pn[?] has written. Sir Charles Bunbury intends to etc... Will reserve Accounts for Madrid. No time to trouble Draper with them now. Will try to add a little more to Frederick's. Vignoles wrote. Wishes to be remembered to friends in Spain, would rather not see them there though unless he can get into Parliament (where he thinks he could be of use to Lord [Clt?] he will have to return in October). Compliments to friends and Shadwell.
