The Provost (Francis Andrews?) left Madrid, hopefully with enough wine & hams to get to Seville. Dr. Purcell says no danger to Amos. Prescribed medicine. Dined with Comte de Viry. Invited again tomorrow. Viry has been ill. Won't see strong [?] House before next month. Will try to pay respects to Grantham as Munro not leaving Madrid this week. Wine and sundry goods from London arrived today. Sparre comes Friday, dreads seeing his house.
