Admin/biog history
After the second world war the Cranfield Institute of Technology ran an engineering apprenticeship course. This lasted 5 years and included a general year, a year at Mander College, Bedford, and time in each of the departments at the institute. The Institute stopped running the apprenticeships in 1974. In the late 1980s and early 1990s the association held dinners for the former apprentices. The association was wound up in about 1992.
