    Copy court roll, Manor of Cranfield: - surrender by Margaret Vaux of Dunstable, widow (only daughter of Bernard Turney, late of Cranfield, gentleman, deceased) out of court via Humphrey Smith, esquire, steward of (a) closes of arable and sward in Bourne End called Bushy Hills, Chappell Closes and Radcroft as well as a slipe of meadow adjoining Bushy Hills containing together 30 acres in occupation of Mathew Hartwell, (b) cottage at Bourne End and close of arable and sward called Home Close containing 15 acres and close of arable and sward with little slipe of grovage adjoining called Gravel Pit Hills containing 14 acres, and close of meadow called The Meadow containing 1½ acres and two acres of arable in the common fields expectant on death of Anne, wife of Thomas Howard of Dunstable, her mother, to the use of her will
