Manor of Cranfield absolute surrender by Thomas Pancost of Willen [Buckinghamshire] of (a) close in Cranfield near East End and called Burminghales alias Burminghalls alias Burningalls containing 8 acres with land of Thomas Underwood N, common road from Cranfield to Bedford S, land of Joseph Partridge, esquire W and of Theed Pearse, esquire in Marston Moretaine E; the close in occupation of Francis Taylor – to the use of John Gotobed of Norfolk Street, Strand [Middlesex], esquire in trust for Francis, 5th Duke of Bedford “Mr Hurst delivered the original surrender and the surrender to the use of Pancost’s will to Mr Davis junior to be presented at the next court”.
