    Parties: (i) Henry Butler of Lidlington, yeoman; (ii) Thomas Baker of Cranfield, yeoman; Raphe Reddell of Eversholt, yeoman; Thomas Butler, son and heir of (i) Operative Part: - (i), in consideration of a forthcoming marriage between Thomas Butler and Elizabeth Reddell. Daughter of Richard Reddell of Lidlington, yeoman, enfeoffed (a)-(i) to Thomas Baker and Raphe Reddell Property: (a) messuage called Burgas in East End, Cranfield; (b) four closes lying together near (a) called Lay Close, Great Meadow Close, Skill Close and Meadow Close; (a)-(b) containing 19 acres, 3 roods in occupation of Henry Butler (c) coppice of 2 acres in Cranfield near Little Meadow Close; (d) coppice of 2 roods in Cranfield lying near Hill Close; (e) messuage in East End, Cranfield with adjoining pightle of pasture, near (a), called Crowgrave containing 1 acre in occupation of Thomas Brian; (f) two pightles called Manor Place of Rutlands alias Rudlands containing 5 acres in occupation of Henry Wheeler; (g) Bush Close, held of Rutlands Manor, divided into three parts and containing 24 acres, in occupation of Thomas Baker; (h) spinney lying N of (g) containing 2 acres; (i) close of pasture called Borne Crofte containing 7 acres abutting: on Redlands Close N; close formerly of William Dowes then John Wodells W, the Green S in Cranfield Habendum - (f)-(i) to Thomas Baker and Raphe Reddell to the use of (i) until the intended marriage, to the use of (i) for life, to the use of Thomas Butler and heirs begotten on the body of Elizabeth, in default of such issue to the use of Sarah, wife of Thomas Butcher and daughter of (i) and her heirs, in default to the use of the heirs of (i) for ever; - (a)-(e), lately purchased by (i) from Thomas Grubb, clerk, to Thomas Baker and Raphe Reddell to the use of (i) until the intended marriage, to the use of Thomas Butler and heirs begotten on the body of Elizabeth, in default of such issue to the use of of Sarah, wife of Thomas Butcher and daughter of (i) and her heirs, in default to the use of the heirs of (i) for ever To be held of the chief lord of the fee Witnesses: - Thomas Arnald; - Richard Reddell; - Thomas Kinge
