    Pelhams; will try to recover their acquaintance. Carlisle believed to live with his toadeaters, Boothby & Storer. Selwyn's[?] respect for him seems diminished, latter lately been in the country inoculating the young Fagniani's child. Thinks Carlisle "tired of the thing...always seems as if he wanted to make an echoppee...restrained only by his fear of Lady G. etc...". Fitzwilliam and his wife go on as comfortably as possible, "Fitz delights in a Boar...seriously...takes him to be the best kind of man...". Thursday Club flourishes. Gaming; never plays at Almack's, but plays elsewhere now & then.
