From Fritz, Newby [Park] to 2nd Baron Grantham, Whitehall: Violent snow storm prevented visit to Kirby. Fretwell sent word of dangers of drifting snow, also word of Grantham's safe arrival at Ferrybridge. Found a pair of battledoress & shuttlecocks. Send word to Park Street that they are detained and arrival there uncertain.
