Batt and Burton dine today. Will taste Mrs. Theodosia Parker's work [new cook] . Westminster Play afterwards. Met Smyth of Heath whilst riding. Lady Georgiana [Duchess of Devonshire] came up to lay in. Mr. Cambridge visited, insistent on them passing a night at Twickenham. George Pelham expected on way to Stanmer. Mr. Milbanke bruised by fall from horse in ride with Mary. Removed most of books & clothes from Whitehall.
