Lady Harris not thought to stay long at Harrogate. Dined at Cambridge's. Called upon Mrs. Legge at Fulham. Dined at Knightsbridge with Mrs. Harris. Attended House of Commons, in a division. Then ate sandwiches at Lady Palmerston's. Jack [Parker] well at Hammersmith. Lord Boringdon went this morning. Legs considerably swelled. Breakfast at Bedford House, didn't go. Duchess broke her wrist falling downstairs at Duchess of Bolton's. Assume James [Worsley] gone, `Trusty' arrived at Portsmouth. Perhaps proper to write to Sir J. Lindsay before Dick [Worsley] quits his ship. Steele to marry Miss Lindsay. Siere/Sierre crippled with Lumbago. Glad Quick[?] has been at Newby. Portugal Scott & wife go to Kirby soon.
