Nanny to have Fritz's for riding habit to take to Devon. Munro not well at Aranjuez. Attended small party at Mrs. Arthington's. Weather cold, wet & dark. Took short ride. Mr. Fitzroy, Lord Southampton's eldest son, eloped with second Miss Keppell to Scotland. Lord S. had refused consent. Mrs. Keppell not very averse to it. Mr. Berkley & Miss Lenox, Lady Sydney's cousins, did likewise. Late Provost of Eaton, Mr. Barnard's son to marry Miss Beadon a niece of Dr. Beadon, Master of Jesus. Lady Chatham better. Tom Pelham assumed to be going down to Pepper Harrow as soon as Bedfordshire Election over. May travel to Yorkshire with Fritz. Lord Hardwicke in Town. Lady Bel [Amabel Polwarth] to Ely. Mrs. Allanson & her companions the Parsons leave next week.
