    Mr. Woodfall will give a better and fuller account of House of Commons. Long question & no debate on Mr. Burke's motion. Hope he's satisfied with making speaker read, & public print, a long political pamphlet. Celebrated 29th or 30th Anniversary in Stratton St., whole family plus Lord Boringdon and Nanny, Mrs. Stainforth, Mrs. Elizabeth & Mr. Watson. Played Whist. Lady Pelham persuaded to go to Opera at 10 o'clock, to see `the Deserter'. Tom's visit to Ireland uncertain. Pelhams leave town Friday. Lord Boringdon to stay on to take in the Exeter Race on his way. Wrote to Dick [Worsley]. Mr. Wright's bill for repairs to coach & chaise, £80 to £90. Separate account of harness. Mr. and Mrs. Hobart going abroad. House in St. James' Square to be let for £500 a year. Duke of Dorset set off for Paris. Ball at French Embassador's, supper shabby, only young ladies & chaperones. Mrs. Gardiner carried Miss Vanneck. Harry coughs & looks thin etc. Took fine ride, mare goes well. Just begun to cut Hay etc... Dining with Sir James Harris. Perhaps time afterwards to give vote against Reformation of Parliament. Morning Herald; extract from Lord Graham's diary enclosed [present]. Lady Chewton brought to bed of a son.
