Will have more to say tomorrow having met Mr. Belwood at Newby [Park] but writes anyway. Going to Weddel's Friday. Latter dining with Dr. Kilvington Thursday. Dined with Mayor, drank wine with commoners, watched Ladies dance, played two rubbers at Whist at Assembly with Mrs. Hutchinson. Intends to visit Harry Thompson. Writing to Smyth, thinks he so goes to Dalham Tower. General plan to say in Yorkshire until 22nd. Mrs. Waddilove well. Horse recovered. The Dean dined yesterday, not in good spirits. Misses the boys. Gave Ralph four guineas for his expenses to Bawtry, to divide with Richard afterwards. Dick captivated the Lady's at Studley. Love to Lady Grantham.
