    Boys fished at Hutton Moor Ponds. Called there on way back from Ripon and visit to Waddilove's. Mother & baby well. Rode round by Shipton Bridge, the young gentlemen rowed & sailed etc. Dining today at Waddilove's, thence to Studley. Ralph wrote to Mr. Goodriche to say they intended to dine & lay at Aldborough on Monday, but they replied they do to Scarborough on Monday. Boys will now go to Mr. Acklom's at Wiseon, via Bawtry, on Monday for a few days. Fritz to dine with the Mayor & Alderman, his Brethren on Tuesday. Kirby on Wednesday. Staying with Weddels next Monday. Waddilove expects Mr. Browne next month, imagines party to Lakes to be with him. Bricklayers working fast on backstairs etc... Curtis makes great progress. Heavy shower brought down some of Bank. Garden wall as far as Water House may be down by tomorrow night. Old foundations being kept in some parts of the stone wall. Blanchard made a show of preparing stones whilst Grantham there. Has done nothing else since. Beginning on Architrave at back of Colonnade tomorrow. Mrs. Waddilove well. Mr. Bell has seen Richard [Worsley], leg healing, will give him Bark in powders to take in Nottinghamshire. Boys send love. Tom has behaved well and spared the floors.
