Nanny received Grantham's [letter] from Wrest yesterday. Little company at present. Duke and Duchess of Devonshire dine alone day before yesterday. Nobody but Mr. Lloyd yesterday. Dined at Kitley, Mr. Bastard goes on improving the house. Lord Charles Spencer visits soon, Lord Robert expected with Charles Fox, also Lord Foley and Sir C. Dawes. Keeping good hours, Mr. Parker in bed before ten, Nanny & Fritz soon after. Mr. Parker to spend a day at the Assizes at Exeter. Heard nothing from Mr. Elliott. The dear boy has written to Grantham, little girl at Camp this morning [Jack and Theresa Parker] Duke and Duchess of Devonshire at Room last night. Duchess dines at Saltram tomorrow, Mr. Parker & Duke dine out. Duchess related to the Qurrys.
